Sounds like the name of a really cool buddy-cop movie to me. No luck there, unfortunately. It’s two names that showed up on different bills sent to Comcast customers. Having been an unhappy customer of Comcast in past years (no longer, thankfully), I can easily believe this might happen.

Comcast stinks. I spoke with a seasoned repairman (who’d worked for the company before it was Comcast or its predecessor), and he told me that the cable infrastructure in Chicago (downtown and throughout the city and burbs) is completely shot. For every customer that defects to a satellite tv provider, the cable companies have that much less money for maintenance or even operating capital. I think they will continue to die slowly; their rates going up, their services and offerings declining.
They should:
1) embrace their obsolescence and admit that having them is really just a burden and just shut it down, and
2)admit they can no longer offer us what others can and take it upon themselves to end it quickly instead of forcing people to participate in it’s slow, drawn out demise.
COINCIDENTALLY, those are the same two rules I would like to put into full force and effect for elderly people. A bit off topic, but uncanny that the same rules apply.
