I admit it, the games you are putting out lately blow me away. The level of graphics, gameplay and interactivity is impressive. So why is it, when a game can offer all of these things, that it fails to do something so mind-numbingly obvious as allowing players to customize their controls?

An awesomeness ceiling? I think it would be impossible that something can get exponentially better without end, but that’s what Heroes is doing. And if next week’s teaser is any indication, it will be twice as good as this week’s! That’s gotta violate some law of physics or one of them there sciences. Maybe Terminal Velocity is involved. That sounds right.
Why web 2.0 names make no sense.

Plugoo, Scrybe, Skype, Zoho, Otavo, Meebo, the list goes on.. It’s not simply an attempt to be creative, though that surely has something to do with it. It’s because EVERY DAMN URL THAT MAKES SENSE IS TAKEN! If you want your application to be successful, you need the name of your product to match the url. It’s really the only way to insure that your product and website are easy to find. Looking for Meebo? Meebo.com. Looking for Zoho? Zoho.com. And so on. If you know the name, you know the url. Which is why so many web apps have names that sound like characters in a Dr. Seuss book.
