The government? Lie to us? Never!

Well, it may be a lie, but it might not be. Considering I had thought the capture of Saddam was staged all along, it’s pretty easy for me to believe this Sergeant’s story of the event, which says that very thing. Considering the pack of lies surrounding the rescue of Jessica Lynch a while back, it wouldn’t surprise me at all.

i always thought the same thing about the jet that went down in Pennsylvania on 9/11. it sounds heroic and good when you tell people that passengers banded together and overtook the terrorists and crashed the plane in a field to save the lives of the people at whatever “target” destination they had planned…. if you remember, people on that plane were in contact with family and friends via their cell phones, and knew about the WTC as they were in flight and after the crew was overtaken… but i always suspected that our military really shot the plane down (for the same reason)…

however, i don’t think they’re lying about alien abductions. if one more fruitcake claims to have been abducted, probed, cross-bred with an alien of the “opposite sex”, or shown scenes from the future of humankind because the aliens chose him/her to “warn us about our ways”, i might just vomit. whitley strieber ought to be ashamed of himself for making a living at worsening the delusions of the mentally ill… though, if you read Communion as a purely fictional piece, it is quite entertaining…

but, other than that, everything else the government tells us is probably all lies…
